If you were around in the early 1980s, you no doubt heard the song "Nobody" by Sylvia. It was a crossover hit. Country, pop, adult contemporary... they all loved this song. And then Sylvia kind of went away. I did see her on an episode of Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters... After that, nada. I guess Sylvia's hit song was a prophetic statement about her career.
