Dear Mr. Jesus...

This song was very popular when I was in high school.  I used to listen to a radio show in the mornings and they would play this depressing song, which came out around the time Lisa Steinberg was killed by her illegally adoptive father.  What a thing to wake up to in the morning....

These days, I can barely stand to listen to this cutesy song.  It's sad, but totally turns the serious topic of child abuse into something unbearably saccharine.  Glad I quit listening to morning shows.
