When I was in college, our choir sang "What a Wonderful World", a song made famous by Louis Armstrong. Years later, I sang it with a couple of my English students in Yerevan, Armenia. I have not heard Eva Cassidy's version of this song, but decided to sing it myself and have a little fun with it.
Here it is...
I think it turned out relatively nicely. Such a pretty, hopeful song. I usually do well on pretty songs, though I'm a bit of a crank in real life. Keep in mind, I'm improvising with this and it would probably be better if I stood up and relaxed a bit. Hmmm... maybe I'll try it again.
I think I'm still partial to Louis Armstrong's version. It's very endearing and sweet.
