When I was a kid, I had Whitney Houston's self-titled album from 1985. I used to ride my bike to the barn every day to see my horse. A lot of times, I listened to Whitney on the way there through the headphones connected to my Walkman... This was my favorite song from that album.
I used to listen to "Take Good Care Of My Heart" over and over again... even more than "The Greatest Love Of All" and "Saving All My Love For You". I more or less lost interest in Whitney by 1987 or so, but her music was a big part of my teen years. I'm sorry she left us so early and pray she's found peace.
I actually really liked her duets with Jermaine Jackson and she did several...
