Foreigner...

Very recently, I started watching a morning show on CBS.  I don't really pay a whole of lot of attention to it.  I do like it when they play old school music, though, and this morning they played an old hit by Foreigner...

"Blue Day" seems like a good song for a Monday morning, doesn't it?

Foreigner was quite awesome back in the day.  In fact, when I hear Lou Gramm's blistering lead vocals, I just want to teleport back to the late 1970s so this song would be a current hit...

"Cold As Ice"...

But then Foreigner started getting really popular and their music became more polished and we got songs like "Waiting For A Girl Like You"...

and

"I Want To Know What Love Is"

and "I Don't Want To Live Without You"...

Which just make me miss songs like

"Hot Blooded"
