For some reason, this old song by Joe Tex cracks me up.
I do think it's a trip, though. Joe Tex was a trip back in the day... even though this was recorded five years before I was born.
Sadly, Joe Tex died of a heart attack on August 13, 1982, just five days after his 47th birthday. His name at birth was Joseph Arrington, Jr., but he was born and raised in Texas. Since he was known for speaking over his songs, you could say he was sort of a grandfather to rap. He had sort of a rivalry with James Brown. In fact, if you listen to his music, you can hear how similar their sounds were. I'd say James Brown was a bit more successful. In 1966, Joe Tex converted to Islam and was also known as Yusef Hazziez. He did tours as a spiritual lecturer. Frankly, I'd rather listen to his music.
As someone who doesn't have skinny legs, I can't relate to this song at all...

Here he goes, busting on fat women... "Ain't Gonna Bump No More"...
